UNS N06030 alloy is an improved corrosion resistant alloy based on Hastelloy G3 Ni-Cr-Fe-Mo-Cu alloy.

UNS N06030 has a high chromium content and is added with cobalt and tungsten, which makes G30 alloy show better corrosion resistance than most other iron-nickel-based corrosion resistant alloys in the complex environment of industrial phosphoric acid and high-oxidizing acid. Due to the high chromium content, the main corrosion resistance of G30 is that its corrosion resistance to H3PO4 containing Cl - and F - is significantly better than Hastelloy G3 alloy. It also has excellent corrosion resistance in nitric acid+hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid+hydrofluoric acid. The alloy can be used for evaporator, nitric acid+hydrofluoric acid mixed acid equipment and parts of pickling stainless steel in the production of wet-process phosphoric acid industry, as well as anti-corrosion devices in the production of nuclear fuel.

UNS N06030 is mainly used for wet-process phosphoric acid production and processing and nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid pickling equipment and components. The alloy can be used in phosphoric acid production, sulfuric acid production, nitric acid production, nuclear waste treatment, nuclear fuel recovery, petrochemical product pickling, fertilizer production, pesticide production, gold mining, deep-sea acid gas well casing and lining, well casing and acid gas transmission pipeline.
