ADI plans to restart blast furnace No.1 in Italy

Italian S460M Grade E steel steel company ADI plans to restart blast furnace 1 on October 15, 2024. Currently, only blast furnace 4 is in operation in Toronto, blast furnace 5 has been out of service for several years, and blast furnaces 1 and 2 were shut down a few months ago. ADI plans to achieve a steel production of 1.9-2.2 million tons by 2024. The No. 2 blast furnace is scheduled to restart in the first quarter of 2025. By the first quarter of 2026, the company plans to operate blast furnaces 1, 2, and 4, with a potential output of 4.5-5 million S460M Grade E steel tons by 2025.
