Recently, Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS), an Algerian S320GD+ZF80 steel manufacturer, continued to actively expand the European threaded steel market. This time, AQS has obtained a new license and is about to enter the Scandinavian regional market.
As of the week ending October 27th, AQS has obtained sales licenses for threaded steel products in the Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish markets, covering product specifications such as K500B-T, K500C-T8-40mm, B500NB8-40mm, B500B, and B500C8-40mm. The license certificate was officially issued on October 26th and is valid until October 26th, 2028.
At present, AQS has obtained sales licenses for threaded S320GD+ZF100 steel in Poland, Lithuania, and some Scandinavian countries. In addition, it is understood that AQS is about to obtain a license from Finland.
AQS has an annual DRI production capacity of 2.5 million tons S320GD+ZF120 steel and a crude steel production capacity of 2.4 million tons. In terms of long materials, the annual production capacity of AQS threaded steel and wire rod is 1.5 million tons and 500000 tons, respectively.
