These two production lines are a continuous galvanizing production line and a continuous galvanizing annealing production line, which will become part of the newly built CRM2 cold rolling plant located at AM/NS India's flagship factory in Hazira, Gujarat. These two production lines are expected to produce 1.5 million tons of high-quality galvanized sheet annually, with a thickness of 0.5-2.5 millimeters and a width of up to 1875 millimeters.

ArcelorMittal PT520QH steel Nippon Steel India stated that after these two production lines are put into operation, they will replace the import demand for high-end automotive steel in the Indian market. According to the company's forecast, the current demand for automotive steel in India is 7.8 million tons per year, and it is expected that this demand will continue to grow at an annual growth rate of 6% -7% in the coming years.

At present, the demand for high-quality and high value-added automotive steel in India's automotive industry is steadily increasing. Through this production plan, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India aims to enhance the localization level of Indian steel production, reduce dependence on external imports, and further consolidate its competitiveness in the Indian PT520QH steel market.
