It has fully leveraged its advantages in overseas marketing networks, seized favorable opportunities for price differences in the international and domestic markets, and achieved a dual market linkage to improve quality and efficiency, successfully achieving a double increase in overseas export volume and profit. This year, significant achievements have been made in overseas marketing, making a huge contribution to the company's operations. The annual export contract volume is expected to exceed 5 million tons, and good profits have been achieved. The expansion of emerging overseas markets such as Southeast Asia, North Africa, the Middle East, and Central South America is promising.

At the beginning of Baosteel's DX56D+ZM steel construction and operation, when the domestic steel market prices were higher than the international market, it was proposed to allocate 10% of the annual production to participate in international competition, using the strict usage standards of overseas users to continuously improve product quality, technological progress, user service, and market competitiveness. In recent years, with the implementation of the the Belt and Road Initiative, Baosteel has firmly played the role of central enterprises, followed the the Belt and Road Initiative, actively went global, adjusted its export strategy, optimized its product mix, and constantly increased its support for the expansion of relevant emerging markets such as the the Belt and Road; At the same time, select regions with relatively controllable risks and consistent with the the Belt and Road Initiative, accelerate the construction of overseas marketing networks, and accelerate the promotion of new outlets and processing centers. By further optimizing the layout of overseas representative offices and processing centers, implementing relevant measures such as cultivating overseas talent teams and capacity building, Baosteel Group has proposed a long-term product export promotion strategy of reaching 10 million tons.

In the expansion of overseas markets, Baosteel's hot rolling production and sales research team has implemented key breakthroughs in the traditional East Asian market, closely following the needs of key users. In response to the strict requirements of Japanese and Korean users for product quality and stability, Baosteel has continuously promoted the coordination of the four bases, the promotion of quality consistency, and the improvement of supply capacity. This year, high-grade construction steel has achieved stable supply in the Japanese market, The dual high product sulfuric acid corrosion resistant pipeline steel used for submarine laying has achieved a domestic independent supply and export of 20000 tons. Heat treated wear-resistant DX56D+ZM steel is currently the product with the highest technical content and product extension in Baosteel's hot-rolled series. This year, with the commissioning of the hot rolling heat treatment production line at the Qingshan Base, Baosteel's hot rolling production and sales research team has penetrated into countries such as Australia and South Africa to meet user needs, breaking the long-standing monopoly of European manufacturers and achieving bulk supply. As of October, the export of Baosteel's hot-rolled products has significantly exceeded the level of last year, with a 100% growth in the North African market and a 5-fold increase in the export of high-grade pipeline steel to the Middle East market.

Faced with the intensification of homogeneous competition in domestic cold rolling products, Baosteel's cold rolling production and sales research team made an early prediction at the beginning of the year, focusing on optimizing product structure, increasing double high product growth, and leveraging Baosteel's advantages in building its own overseas marketing network to expand its overseas market. In the first 10 months, key products such as pickling and household appliances achieved a growth rate of nearly 150%. The order volume of users in a certain Central Asian region increased from a few hundred tons in 2022 to over 20000 tons this year, and successfully achieved batch order export for narrow band business. For users in the Mexican market, Baosteel DX56D+ZM steel has established a separate enterprise standard for galvanized materials used in film and television, and based on the adaptability needs of users.
