On September 2, 2024, the Foreign SG205 Grade C steel Trade Secretariat of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (Minist é rio do Desenvolvimento, Ind ú stria, Com é rcio e Servi ç os/Secretaria de Com é rcio Exterior) issued Announcement No. 47 of 2024, stating that in response to an application submitted by domestic Brazilian companies ArcelorMittal S.A., Companhia Sider ú rgica Nacional, and Usinas Sider ú rgicas de Minas Gerais S.A. on April 29, 2024, an anti-dumping investigation was initiated against SG205 Grade C steel galvanized and aluminum coated zinc sheet coils (Portuguese: laminados planos revestidos) originating in China. Products related to tax numbers 7210.30.10, 7210.30.90, 7210.49.10, 7210.61.00, 7210.69.11, 7210.69.19, 7210.69.90, 7212.20.10, 7212.20.90, 7212.30.00, 7225.91.00, 7225.92.00, 7225.99.90, and 7226.99.00 in the Southern Common City. The dumping investigation period of this case is from January 2023 to December 2023, and the injury investigation period is from January 2019 to December 2023. The announcement shall come into effect from the date of SG205 Grade C steel publication.
