On July 24th, the Canadian SPCE steel International Trade Court made a decision to continue imposing anti-dumping and countervailing duties on seamless carbon steel or alloy steel oil and gas well casings from China. These measures were first proposed on November 28, 2018.
The Canada Border Services Agency will continue to impose anti-dumping (AD) SPCE steel and countervailing (CVD) duties on the above-mentioned products, with an anti-dumping duty of 179% of the export price of the product. Exporters who refuse to pay anti-dumping duties will be subject to a countervailing fee of 5280 RMB/ton.
