Currently, there is a trend of price recovery in China's export market. Today, SAE006 hot coil was quoted by a Chinese HDT760C steel steel mill at $505/ton CFR, $478/ton CFR, and another steel mill at $490/ton FOB, which has increased by about $20-30/ton compared to last week. In addition, the quotation of Chinese steel mills for SS400/Q235 and Q195 3mm basic hot-rolled coils remains at $445-455/ton FOB, unchanged from Monday. It is heard that a large steel mill in North China sold a batch of SS400/Q235 and Q195 3mm thick base HDT760C steel hot coils at FOB China price of $455/ton on Tuesday. In terms of cold coils, Chinese steel mills offer FOB export prices of 505-530 US dollars/ton for cold-rolled coils, a decrease of about 15 US dollars/ton compared to the previous period. The export price of hot-dip galvanizing (1mm) is around 560-600 USD/ton FOB, with a decrease of around 15-40 USD/ton FOB compared to the previous period. The current market mentality has slightly improved, but there are still doubts about whether the market price has hit bottom, so only a small amount of shipments are being made. In addition, the low price market in the past month has also led some Southeast Asian traders to directly turn to the Chinese market for low-priced finished products and consider stopping the purchase of foreign steel HDT760C steel mill resources.
