Cleveland Cliffs Hot Roll Price Increases by $20 in the United States

US steel S355K2 steel manufacturer Cleveland Cliffs announced an increase in hot coil prices from $730/ton to $750/ton. Since early September, due to the gradual recovery of the construction industry and downstream user S355K2 steel demand, the delivery price of hot coil factories in North America has increased by $10/ton to $700-710/short ton (equivalent to $772-783/ton). In August 2024, North American hot coil prices hit bottom and rebounded for the first time in nearly three months, with ex factory prices rising by $50/ton to reach S355K2 steel $700/ton.
