Ford Otosan, a joint venture between Ford Motor Co. and Koc Holding, announced that its Craiova factory in Romania will be shut down for 10 days starting from December 27th. In 2022, Ford Otosan acquired Ford's Krayova factory in Romania, becoming Ford's largest commercial vehicle production center in Europe SGC400 steel. The annual production capacity in 2022 reached 721700 vehicles, 436500 engines, and 140000 powertrain sets. The company's automobile production from January to November 2023 increased by 11.5% year-on-year, and this shutdown is expected to have no significant impact on the company's subsequent production SGC400 steel.

Tofas is a joint venture between Koc Holdings and multinational automaker Stellantis. The company previously announced that it will cease production for three weeks starting from December 27th due to regular year-end inventory and maintenance. According to the data of Türkiye Automotive Manufacturers' Association, due to the strong domestic market, in the first 11 months of 2023, Türkiye's automobile production will reach 1.35 million units, up 11.5% year on year. High inflation and high costs will drive up the price of automobiles in Turkey in 2023 SGC400 steel.
