The current price of rebar in the Italian market is between 660 euros/ton and 680 euros/ton (710 US dollars/ton and 730 US dollars/ton), with a month on month decrease of about 10-15 US dollars/ton. At present, the overall consumption level in Europe is weak, and under the premise of high overall inventory levels, it is difficult for steel mills to raise HCT450X+ZA steel prices. On the other hand, the sales volume and price performance of wire are quite impressive. The current price of Italian wire rods is around 650 euros/ton (700 US dollars/ton), with little change compared to the previous week. The main reason for this HCT450X+ZA steel price increase is that a steel manufacturer in Eastern Europe has reduced the amount of wire rods available for distribution to Italy, resulting in an increase in prices. Other long-term HCT450X+ZA steel products are expected to remain weak in consumer performance next month.
