Hadeed DC05EK steel is a subsidiary of SABIC in Saudi Arabia, which operates two steel mills in Jubail and Jeddah with an annual production capacity of 7.3 million tons. The company involves multiple varieties, including long rods, plates, and wires, and is the largest steel production and processing enterprise in Saudi Arabia.
Recently, due to weak demand and rising scrap prices, the company has raised its long rod prices. Compared to June prices, the DC05EK steel prices of 12-40mm diameter threaded steel, 8-14mm threaded steel coils, and 6.5-12mm wire rods have increased by 35 rials per ton (9.3 US dollars). The updated price for straight steel bars with a diameter of 12-40mm is 2410 rials/ton (642.6 US dollars), while the updated price for 8-14mm coil steel bars and 6.5-12mm wire rods is 2485 rials/ton (662.6 US dollars). These prices do not include 15% value-added tax, and the DC05EK steel payment method is a 90 day letter of credit or bank guarantee.
