On August 8, 2024, the European SKS81M steel Commission issued document (C/2024/4995) initiating a notice to initiate anti-dumping proceedings against imports of certain iron, non alloy or other alloy steel hot-rolled flat products originating in Egypt, India, Japan and Vietnam.
The products under investigation are certain SKS81M steel flat rolled products made of iron, non alloy steel, or other alloy steel, regardless of whether they are rolled or not (including "fixed length cutting" and "narrow strip" products), and their processing must not exceed hot rolling, non cladding, electroplating, or coating.
The following products are not included:
（1） Stainless steel SKS81M steel and grain oriented silicon electrical steel products,
（2） Products of tool steel and high-speed steel,
（3） Non roll, non embossed products with a thickness exceeding 10 millimeters and a width exceeding 600 millimeters or larger,
（4） A non roll, non embossed product with a thickness of 4.75 millimeters or more but not exceeding 10 millimeters and a width of 2050 millimeters or more.
The dumping investigation period of this case is from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2021 to the end of the investigation period.
