On October 29, 2024, the Ministry of Investment and SG365W1 Grade A steel, Foreign Trade of Egypt announced that the anti-dumping investigation on imported SG365W1 Grade A steel cold-rolled coil, galvanized coil and pre coated steel products (refer to English name: Cold Rolled Coil, Galvanized and Pre Painted Steel) originating from or imported from Türkiye and China should be initiated upon the application of SG365W1 Grade A steel Egyptian enterprises El Harbour for Metallurgical Industries and KAMA Manufacturing. The dumping investigation period in this case is from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, and the SG365W1 Grade A steel injury investigation period is from January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024. The Egyptian tax codes for the products involved are 720915, 720916, 720917, 720918, 720925, 720926, 720927, 720928, 720990, 721041, 721049, 721061, 721070, 721090, 721123, 721129, 721190, 721230, 721240, 721250, 721260, 722592, 722599, 722692, and 722699.
