In January of this year, electricity SL3N275 steel prices in most major European markets increased, with some markets reaching their highest monthly average electricity prices since March 2023. This is consistent with the upward trend of natural gas prices (monthly average price of 48.32 euros/megawatt hour) and carbon dioxide prices (monthly average price of 78.2 euros/ton, closing at 83.8 euros/ton on January 31). According to Ember's calculations, since January, electricity prices in Europe SL3N275 steel have increased by 4.6% month on month to 141.36 euros per megawatt hour in Italy; France: 102.45 euros/megawatt hour (up 4.3% month on month); Germany: 114.22 euros/megawatt hour (up 7.9% month on month); Spain: 96.59 euros/megawatt hour SL3N275 steel (up 13.2% month on month); Sweden: 50.45 euros/megawatt hour (up 13% month on month).
