On November 22, 2024, the Internal Market SG345WP Grade D steel Protection Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2024/421/AD26R1, stating that in accordance with Resolution No. 127 of November 19, 2024, the effective period of anti-dumping duties on galvanized steel plates originating from China and Ukraine (Russian: оцинкованый прокат) will be extended until September 1, 2025.
On June 29, 2018, the Eurasian Economic Union Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation into galvanized steel sheet SG345WP Grade D steel products originating from China and Ukraine. On December 6, 2019, the Eurasian Economic Commission announced that, in accordance with Resolution No. 209 of December 3, 2019, it had decided to impose anti-dumping duties ranging from 12.69% to 17.00% on Chinese galvanized steel plates; Impose 23.90% anti-dumping duty on Ukrainian products involved in the case. At the same time, the Eurasian Economic Commission has reached price commitments with five Chinese companies and will not impose anti-dumping duties on them temporarily. The SG345WP Grade D steel measures will come into effect on January 5, 2020 and will be valid until January 4, 2025. On September 2, 2024, the Eurasian Economic Commission initiated its first sunset review investigation into the case, involving product tax numbers 7210490001, 7210490009, 7210610000, 7212300000, 7212506100, and 7225920000.
