On September 2, 2024, the Internal S275J2 steel Market Protection Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2024/416/AD26R1, stating that at the request of Eurasian Economic Union enterprises, in accordance with Order No. 4 of the Internal Market Protection Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission on August 30, 2024, the first sunset review investigation of anti-dumping on S275J2 steel galvanized steel sheets (Russian: оцинкованый прокат) originating in China and Ukraine has been initiated. The tax numbers of the products involved are 7210490001, 7210490009, 7210610000, 7212300000, 7212506100, and 7225920000.
On June 29, 2018, the Eurasian Economic Union Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation into galvanized steel sheet products originating from China and Ukraine. On December 6, 2019, the Eurasian Economic Commission announced that, in accordance with Resolution No. 209 of December 3, 2019, it had decided to impose anti-dumping duties ranging from 12.69% to 17.00% on Chinese galvanized steel plates; Impose 23.90% anti-dumping duty on Ukrainian products involved in the case. At the same time, the Eurasian Economic Commission has reached price commitments with five Chinese S275J2 steel companies and will not impose anti-dumping duties on them temporarily. The measures will come into effect on January 5, 2020 and will be valid until January 4, 2025.
