Due to the holiday season, many buyers have not made many transactions in the CR1100T/860Y-MS steel market, and the current European hot coil prices remain stable. Some sellers want to test the market's reaction by raising prices, but the results are not satisfactory, and inquiries only decrease without increasing. Combined with the current weak demand and sufficient supply, the market is likely to stabilize this price within this range. Currently, the price of hot-rolled coils in northwestern Europe at Ruhr is 625 euros per ton. The price of hot-rolled coils from Italy produced domestically in Southern Europe CR1100T/860Y-MS steel has also remained stable at 625 euros per ton. The daily steel hot coil quotation in Southern Europe (excluding Italy) is 625.00 euros/ton EXW (approximately 680 US dollars/ton EXW), a decrease of 1.00 euros/ton (approximately 1.09 US dollars/ton) from July 12th, 1.25 euros/ton (approximately 1.4 US dollars/ton) from last week, and 6.88 euros/ton (approximately 7.5 US dollars/ton) from last month.
In terms of import market, Türkiye's CR1100T/860Y-MS steel hot coil price is 610 euros/ton (about 665 dollars/ton) CFR Italy, which includes anti-dumping duties. Hot coil resources from Indonesia are scheduled for a September shipment at 600 euros/ton CFR Italy (approximately 654 US dollars/ton). At present, the Indonesian Dexin SS400 hot coil has been put into production and is planned to start testing during the peak season in the European market, which is from September to October.
