The prices of hot coils in Europe continued to remain stable this week, with most steel mills not offering discounts despite poor demand, resulting in a high proportion of long-term orders. At present, the SPHT3 steel hot coil price in the Nordic market is 660 euros/ton EXW (715 US dollars/ton), and the tradable price level is basically maintained at 600 euros/ton EXW (652 US dollars/ton), a slight decrease from the previous week. But the month on month increase was around 15 euros/ton EXW. The actual demand is not good, so there haven't been many transactions heard recently. In Italy, the hot coil SPHT3 steel price is 670 euros/ton EXW (728 US dollars/ton), but the actual transaction price has decreased by 20 euros/ton.
In terms of import, the overall average tradable ,SPHT3 steel price is 590 dollars/ton -610 dollars/ton CFR, the export price of hot coils from Taiwan, China is 600 euros/ton CFR Italy, and the price of 60 tons of hot coils from Türkiye is 615 euros/ton CFR Italy (668 dollars/ton), including anti-dumping duties.
