On August 8th, the European S690Q Grade D steel Commission announced that it will initiate an anti-dumping investigation into Hot rolled Flat Products of Iron, Non alloy or Other Alloy Steel originating from Egypt, India, Japan and Vietnam S690Q Grade D steel . The dumping investigation period of this case is from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2021 to the end of the dumping investigation period.
It is understood that the European Commission stated that in the appeal, Egypt's dumping margin is estimated to be 30-40%, Japan's 10-20%, India's 10%, and Vietnam's 5-15%. It is speculated that the anti-dumping rate for Egypt could reach 26%, while for Japan S690Q Grade D steel it could reach 29.3%.
