French steel production decreased by 0.1% year-on-year from January to April 2024

In April 2024, France's steel HR380LA steel production dropped to its lowest level since the beginning of the year, dropping to 800000 tons, a decrease of 11.2% month on month and 3.5% year-on-year. Ranked 19th among global steel producing countries (out of 71 countries).

From January to April 2024, France's steel production reached 3.34 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.1%. The average monthly steel production decreased from 835500 tons during the same period in 2023 to 834500 tons HR380LA steel.
