Global DRI production increased by 1.7% year-on-year in April 2024

According to data from the World Steel Association, global DRI HR340LA steel production reached 37.43 million tons from January to April 2024, a year-on-year increase of 1.7%. It is worth noting that India HR340LA steel became the largest producer of DRI in April, with a production of 4.41 million tons. Next are Iran, Russia, and Egypt HR340LA steel, with production of 1.87 million tons, 715000 tons, and 582000 tons, respectively.
