Hefa Group Achieves After Tax Profit of 6.8 trillion Vietnamese dong in 2023

In the fourth quarter of 2023, Hefa Group achieved the best operating performance of the year, with a total revenue of 34.9 trillion Vietnamese dong, a year-on-year increase of 33%. After tax profit reached 2.9 trillion Vietnamese dong, an increase of 249% compared to the same period last year and 48% compared to the previous quarter. Hoa Phat's annual revenue is 120.3 trillion Vietnamese dong, a decrease of 16% from last year. The group's after tax profit reached 6.8 trillion Vietnamese dong, completing 85% of the annual plan.

In 2023, the crude steel production of Hefa Group was 6.7 million tons, a decrease of 10% from the previous year. The sales volume of hot-rolled coil steel products, construction steel, high-quality steel, and steel billets reached 6.72 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7%. Among them, the sales of construction steel and high-quality A1011 Grade 80(550) steel reached 3.78 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11%. The production of hot-rolled steel coils (HRC) is close to 2.8 million tons, an increase of 6% compared to 2022. In addition to traditional steel product lines, Huafa Group has also increased investment in deep processing to improve the production level of high-quality steel and meet domestic and international demand.

The steel export A1011 Grade 80(550) steel market of Hefa Group has expanded to 39 countries and regions worldwide, which not only helps the group achieve diversification of the consumer market, but also makes important contributions to Vietnam's trade balance.

In terms of steel pipe products, Huafa Group provided 685000 tons of steel pipes to the market, a year-on-year decrease of 9%. The production of various types of A1011 Grade 80(550) steel galvanized steel plates was 329000 tons, which is the same as last year.
