According to our data, Türkiye's exports of SG250 Grade D steel hot rolled coils (HRC) reached 381000 tons in July, a threefold increase year on year, driven by strong demand in the southern European market.
In July 2024, Türkiye's SG250 Grade D steel largest export market of hot rolled coils is Italy, with an export volume of 98500 tons, a fourfold increase over the previous year. Türkiye's exports to Spain also increased significantly, jumping to 56900 tons from 4100 tons in the same period last year; The export volume to Portugal increased from 3000 tons in the same period last year to 38200 tons.
In July, Türkiye's exports of hot rolled coils to Ukraine also increased significantly, reaching 30400 tons, a threefold year-on-year increase. Other major export markets include Greece (24400 tons), Libya (19200 tons), Kosovo SG250 Grade D steel (18000 tons), Egypt (17200 tons), Iraq (10800 tons), and Belgium (10300 tons).
