On February 7, 2025, the Indian SL7N590 steel Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a notice stating that due to the lack of necessary information provided by the domestic industry and insufficient evidence to prove the dumping and injury of fasteners originating from or imported from China, no decision could be made on the evidence of dumping and injury to the domestic industry. Therefore, it was decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation on Chinese fasteners.
On September 23, 2023, the Indian SL7N590 steel Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into fasteners originating from or imported from China. The products involved in the case include but are not limited to: screws, bolts, nuts, coil nails, concrete nails, eyelets, springs and roller clamps, industrial nail pins, steel strip seals, plastic strip nails, cable clamp nails, bulk nails, steel nails and U-nails, bedding consumables, steel nails, clamp nails, corner nails, U-nails, etc. Products under Indian customs codes 73170013, 73170019, 73181110, 73181190, 73181200, 73181300, 73181400, 73181500, 73181600, 73181900, 82074090, and 83059010. The dumping investigation period of the case is from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023 (12 months), the injury investigation SL7N590 steel period is from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, and the dumping investigation period.
