According to local media reports, India HR1 steel plans to produce 80 million tons of coking coal in this fiscal year (April 2024 to March 2025), a year-on-year increase of 20%. Last year, after efforts by relevant departments and steel HR1 steel manufacturers to diversify coking coal supply and reduce India's dependence on the major coking coal exporting country, Australia, production increased by 10%. According to the Indian coal sector, from April to July 2024, the first four years of this fiscal year, India produced 20.77 million tons of coking coal, a year-on-year HR1 steel increase of 3.5%.
