According to a complaint from Indonesian producer Gunung Raja Paksi, the anti-dumping sunset review was initiated on February 13, 2023, citing the possibility of local Indonesian producers experiencing another squeeze in market share after the expiration of anti-dumping duties. In April 2019, Indonesia extended the deadline for imposing tariffs of 11.93% on the above-mentioned steel products imported from China for five years S420GD+ZM steel.
According to our understanding, Gunung Raja Paksi in Indonesia currently has an annual production capacity of approximately 400000 tons of H-beams S420GD+ZM steel.
The tax codes of the involved products are: 7216.32.10, 7216.32.90, 7216.33.11, 7216.33.19.
In the first ten months of 2023, Indonesia imported 27030 tons of related products from China, a year-on-year increase of 75.1%. Meanwhile, the market share has also risen from 41% to over 59%.
