On October 4, 2024, the Ministry of P275NL1 steel Finance of Indonesia issued Announcement No. PMK66, which continued to levy anti-dumping duties (see the attached table for details of taxation) for five years on Tinplate Coil/Sheet originating from or imported from Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, China and South Korea with a width of 600mm or more and a thickness of less than 0.5mm. The measures will take effect from October 18, 2024 and will be effective until October 17, 2029. The Indonesian tax codes for the products involved are 7210.12.10 and 7210.12.90.
On June 25, 2012, Indonesia initiated an anti-dumping investigation into tinplate originating from or imported from mainland China, Taiwan, and South Korea. On January 15, 2014, Indonesia issued Announcement No. 10/PMK.011/2014, formally imposing anti-dumping duties on products involved in the Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, China and South Korea. Among them, the tax rate of Chinese Mainland P275NL1 steel is 6.1%~7.4%, which is valid until February 14, 2019. On October 27, 2017, Indonesia initiated its first sunset review investigation into the case. On December 31, 2018, the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia issued Announcement No. 214/PMK.010/2018, which continued to impose anti-dumping duties on products involved in Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, China, China and South Korea. Among them, the tax rate of Chinese Mainland is 6.1% -7.4%. The measures will take effect from February 15, 2019 and will be valid until February 15, 2024. On December 19, 2022, Indonesia initiated its second sunset review investigation into the case. On December 19, 2023, the Indonesian Anti Dumping Commission made a final ruling on the second sunset review of the case, recommending the continued imposition of anti-dumping duties on the P275NL1 steel products involved for a period of five years.
