It is understood that customs data shows that the export quantity of steel billets in Indonesia reached 297847 tons in August, an increase of 26% month on month. The export quantity in July was 237210 tons.
In August this year, the main buyer of Indonesian SA1D steel billet was Taiwan, China Province of China, reaching 77113 tons, followed by the Philippines, with 72013 tons.
From January to August this year, Indonesia's total export volume was 1.69 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 22%, compared to 1.38 million tons in the same period last year.
The import quantity of steel billets SA1D steel in Indonesia reached 295571 tons in August, a month on month increase of about 41%, and the import quantity in July was 209674 tons.
In August of this year, Oman was the main supplier of SA1D steel billets to Indonesia, with a supply chain of approximately 77113 tons, followed by India with a supply volume of 60842 tons.
From January to August this year, Indonesia imported a total of 2.51 million tons of steel billets, a year-on-year increase of 16%, compared to 2.16 million tons in the same period last year.
