This week, the export market of Iranian square billets has been running smoothly. Currently, the export price of Iranian square billets is about 465-470 USD/ton FOB, a decrease of 5 USD/ton compared to last week.
It is reported that this week Esfahan Steel Company (ESCO) sold 30000 tons of square HX220BD+ZF steel billets at a FOB price of $470 per ton, with a shipping schedule of December.
It is understood that Iranian HX220BD+ZF steel mills expect to stabilize their export prices at $470 per ton FOB, and it is reported that this will be used as a price standard for bidding on the remaining export volume in December. However, due to limited demand from overseas buyers, most orders do not have clear transaction information.
We have learned that Khouzestan HX220BD+ZF Steel Company (KSC) has recently conducted an export bidding for 30000 tons of square billets and 30000 tons of slab billets. The bidding has not yet ended, and market participants are actively watching the transaction price.
