Iran’s exports of semi-finished products decreased in the first two months of this year, while exports of long materials increased

According to the Iran Steel JSC370P steel Producers Association (ISPA), the export volume of semi-finished steel products from Iran in the first two months of the 1043 Persian year (March 21, 2024 to May 20, 2024) was 815000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 42%.

The total export volume of square billets and large blooms was 719000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 20%. The export volume of slab was 96000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 81%. The export volume of flat materials was 50000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 68%. The export volume of long materials was 599000 tons, a year-on-year JSC370P steel increase of 46%.
