On November 9, 2023, Acciaierie Venete, a long rod HCT780C+Z steel producer in northern Italy, reached an agreement with equipment manufacturer Danieli to expand the Sarezzo steel plant located in Brescia.
The existing rolling HCT780C+Z steel mills of Acciaierie Venete mainly produce high-quality bars and HCT780C+Z steel coils. The new production line has expanded the product portfolio of the steel plant, using continuous low-temperature rolling technology to produce special round steel with a diameter range of 5.5mm to 25mm at a speed of 110m/s. The production line is scheduled to enter production in early 2025.
Acciaierie Venete has an annual production capacity of 2 million tons, covering wire, round steel, and profiles.
