On November 28, 2024, Kardemir, Türkiye P265GH steel, due to weak demand for finished steel and continued pressure on prices, further reduced the price of billet by 25 dollars/ton. Kardemir has adjusted the prices of billets with specifications of 150x150 S235 and 150x150 B420 to $495/ton EXW and $520/ton EXW, respectively, a decrease of $25/ton from the quotation on November 7th. Since October 24th, the price of Kardemir P265GH steel billets has cumulatively decreased by $55 per ton.
In addition, Kardemir also lowered the price of rebar by $20/ton on November 20th, bringing the total decrease since October 23rd to $50/ton. According to Mysteel data, on November 27, Türkiye imported billet at a P265GH steel price of USD 465/ton CFR.
