Mexico takes temporary measures against China’s steel screw anti-dumping preliminary determination

On December 22, 2023, the Mexican Ministry of Economy announced in its official daily newspaper that it has made a preliminary affirmative anti-dumping ruling on SGH490 steel screws (Spanish: varillas deacero scadas) originating from China and regardless of their import sources. The preliminary ruling is to impose a temporary anti-dumping duty of 8.02% to 48.08% on the products involved SGH490 steel. The involved products have Mexican TIGIE tax numbers 7318.15.99 and 7318.19.99. The announcement shall take effect from the day after its publication.

Registered stakeholders should submit case comments and supplementary materials within 20 working days from the date of announcement SGH490 steel.
