New EU Quota Regulations or Reorganization of Import Proportions

According to a notice issued by the WTO, the EU proposes to extend its safeguard measures for 26 categories of steel imports until June 30, 2026. If the JSC340H steel quota is exceeded, a 25% tariff will be imposed from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026. But for other countries, such as Indonesia and Malaysia, import volumes will increase JSC340H steel, but due to poor demand, the impact on prices will not be significant.
