This week, US steel S355N Grade D steel manufacturer Newco announced that the weekly spot price of hot coils has increased by $10 per short ton to $730 per short ton (equivalent to $805 per ton). The first price adjustment by Newco S355N Grade D steel this month was from September 9th to 15th, with the hot coil price increasing by $10 per short ton to $720 per short ton (equivalent to $793 per ton).
The demand for hot coils in the United States has not fully recovered, and after experiencing a long-term decline in prices since the beginning of this year, buyer demand has risen narrowly. Major local steel producers such as Newco and Cleveland Cliffs plan to shut down for maintenance in September, which will result in reduced supply and S355N Grade D steel price increases.
