On January 11, 2025, the Peruvian National P460QH steel Agency for Competition and Intellectual Property Protection's Committee on Dumping, Subsidies, and the Elimination of Non Tariff Trade Barriers issued Announcement No. 108-2024/CDBINDECOPI in the official daily newspaper El Peruano, stating that an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on stainless steel sinks (Spanish: lavaderos de acero inoxidable) originating in China P460QH steel at the request of Peruvian manufacturer Manufacturera de Metales y Alumina Record S.A. The dumping investigation period of this case is from July 2023 to June 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 2021 to June 2024. The Peruvian tax codes for the products involved are 7324.10.00.00, 7324.29.00.00, and 7324.90.00.00. The P460QH steel announcement shall come into effect from the date of publication.
