It is reported that on Monday, a fire SG345WP Grade A steel broke out at the No. 3 blast furnace of Finex, a factory of POSCO located in the southeastern city of Pohang. Just two weeks ago, a fire broke out in the same blast furnace of Finex, and the company resumed normal operation of the SG345WP Grade A steel furnace last Tuesday. According to Pohang staff, the fire at Finex 3 furnace will not affect Pohang Iron's daily production of 30000 to 40000 tons, and the goal is to restore the operation of Finex 3 furnace SG345WP Grade A steel within the year.
