Poland's imports of rolled P355ML1 steel products from third countries increased by 26.3% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 1.869 million tons. In the past 10 months, the import volume of flat products increased by 33.5% year-on-year, and the import volume of long products increased by 8.6% year-on-year, reaching 1.42 million tons and 47.239 million tons respectively. From January to October 2024, flat P355ML1 steel accounted for over 75% of Poland's total steel imports.
Among them, hot rolling accounted for the majority of imports to 7.8653 million tons (a year-on-year increase of 29.3%), coated sheet metal to 3.9354 million tons (a year-on-year increase of 59.9%), and P355ML1 steel cold rolling to 1.6918 million tons (a year-on-year increase of 26.3%)
