The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization of Türkiye SPV235 steel recently announced that Türkiye's steel enterprises DA elik Enerji Tersane ve Ulaı m Sanayi A.The hot-rolled coil production project and supporting coastal facilities construction located in Biga area of Ç anakkale Province have passed the environmental impact assessment and officially obtained environmental protection approval. The total investment of the project is 18.17 billion Türkiye lira (about 505 million US dollars). It is planned to build a steel SPV235 steel plant and rolling mill, with an overall annual capacity of 5 million tons. In addition, the project also includes production facilities for oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, with designed production capacities of 40000 Nm ³/h for oxygen, 300 Nm ³/h for nitrogen, and 1600 Nm ³/h for argon, respectively. In addition to production facilities, the project also involves the construction of coastal infrastructure, including a 195 meter long secondary breakwater, seawall areas with a total area of 130600 square meters and 15400 square meters respectively, and six docks. The implementation of the project is expected to enhance the production capacity and export competitiveness of İ Ç DA Ş, while strengthening the local port logistics SPV235 steel capabilities and providing support for the development of the regional industrial chain.
