According to data released by the Automobile Dealers Association of India S420N Grade D steel (FADA) on October 7th, retail sales of all categories of cars in India (represented by newly registered vehicles) decreased by 9.26% year-on-year in September of this year.
According to FADA data, passenger car sales experienced the largest decline in September, with a year-on-year decrease of 18.8%; S420N Grade D steel Commercial vehicle sales decreased by 10.45% year-on-year.
FADA stated in a statement that due to low consumer confidence, reduced inquiries, and purchase delays caused by heavy rainfall, the sales of two wheelers decreased by 8.51%.
FADA stated that passenger car dealers are facing a historical high inventory level of 80-85 days, equivalent to 790000 vehicles, estimated to be worth $9.4 billion S420N Grade D steel.
