We have learned that the mainstream HX220YD+Z steel quotation of Russian billet has been raised recently to 510 US dollars/ton CFR Türkiye, which is 10 US dollars/ton higher than last week. The Russian steel mill's quotation for Izmir is $515 per ton of CFR, and the quotation for Iskenderun is $520 per ton of CFR, both of which are scheduled for November.
At present, the tradable price of Russian HX220YD+Z steel billet is 475 dollars/ton FOB Novorossiysk, about 500 dollars/ton CFR Türkiye, up 10 dollars/ton compared with last week.
It is reported that a small amount of Russian billets are exported to Türkiye at a price of USD 510-520/ton CFR.
Recently, the cost of imported scrap steel HX220YD+Z steel in Türkiye has risen. Türkiye has raised the price of finished products, and the price of billet has been supported. The buyer in Türkiye has raised the inquiry for imported billet, which is about 465 dollars/ton FOB Black Sea, up 10 dollars/ton compared with last week. Market participants believe that there has been an improvement in market sentiment in the near future, and the prices of square billets will remain stable.
