On February 20, 2025, the South Korean A516 Grade 380 steel Trade Commission issued Announcement No. 2025-3 (Case Investigation No. 23-2024-4), making the first sunset review and final determination of anti-dumping against flat rolled products of stainless steel originating in Chinese Mainland, Indonesia A516 Grade 380 steel and Taiwan, China, and proposing to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved for five years; At the same time, price commitments have been reached with some enterprises (see attached table for details). The implementation of measures shall be subject to the relevant taxation announcement of the South Korean Ministry of Planning and Finance. On September 25, 2020, South Korea launched an anti-dumping investigation against stainless steel coils originating in Chinese Mainland, Indonesia and Taiwan, China. According to the Decree No. 865 of the Ministry of Planning and Finance of the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Korea will levy anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the above countries/regions for three years from September 15, 2021, of which the Chinese Mainland will be 23.69%~25.82%; At the same time, no anti-dumping duties will be imposed on companies that have fulfilled their price commitments. On May 17, 2024, South Korea launched the first sunset review investigation of anti-dumping against stainless A516 Grade 380 steel coils originating in Chinese Mainland, Indonesia and Taiwan, China.
