On January 16, 2025, the Korea SBV3 steel Trade Commission issued Announcement No. 2025-1 (Case No. 23-2024-7), making preliminary anti-dumping rulings on hot-rolled stainless steel plates with a thickness of not less than 4.75 millimeters and a width of not less than 600 millimeters originating from China. The preliminary ruling was that Chinese producers/exporters Schuang International Development Ltd., STX Japan Corporation, Best Win International Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Daekyung Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., and other Chinese SBV3 steel suppliers had a dumping margin of 21.62%, and it was recommended that the South Korean Ministry of Planning and Finance impose a temporary anti-dumping duty of 21.62% on the products involved. The Korean tax numbers of the products involved are 7219.21.1010, 7219.21.1090, 7219.21.9000, 7219.22.1010, 7219.22.1090, and 7219.22.9000.
On September 6, 2024, South Korea SBV3 steel initiated an anti-dumping investigation into hot-rolled stainless steel plates originating from China. The anti-dumping investigation period for the case is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024.
