Spain’s steel production increased by 9.9% year-on-year in May

Between January and May, Spain's SPFC980Y steel production increased by 3.3% year-on-year. The steel production of Spanish steel manufacturers increased by 9.9% year-on-year in May 2024, reaching 1.11 million tons. In the World Iron and Steel Association's ranking of steel producing countries, it ranks 16th.

The total production capacity of these SPFC980Y steel factories is 21.94 million tons per year, with a capacity utilization rate of 51.3% in 2023 SPFC980Y steel.
