In the Nordic region, buying has improved, with increased activity in the spot market from late April to early May, but still avoiding large-scale hoarding. The actual S15CK steel demand is still not high, but the inventory of customers (such as distributors and service centers) is very low, so there are some transactions, but the transaction volume is not large. Currently, the domestic hot coil price in Europe is between 630-650 euros/ton EXW (676 US dollars/ton -697 US dollars/ton EXW), and the actual transaction price is about 630 euros/ton EXW.
The import price was basically stable this week. The delivery time of Türkiye's S15CK steel original hot coil was in July, and the cost and freight per ton was 620 euros/ton. The price of Saudi Arabia's hot coil in July was 600 euros/ton CFR (644 dollars/ton). The price of Vietnam's hot coil in July was the same. The price of Japan S15CK steel, India and South Korea was 610-620 euros/ton CFR (655 dollars/ton -665 dollars/ton).
