Swiss Steel Group Sales Fall 6.2% YoY in First Half of 2024

The weak HR2 steel demand in the European steel market has led to a significant decline in sales and revenue for Swiss Steel Group. From January to June 2024, the sales volume was 572000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 6.2%, and the revenue was 1.3 billion HR2 steel euros (approximately 1.43 billion US dollars), a year-on-year decrease of 20%. The expected sluggish market will continue throughout the HR2 steel second half of the year.
