In April 2025, Türkiye's steel 50CrMo4 steel mill Kocaer ç elik received a large number of steel orders from the Middle East and North Africa, the Americas, Europe and the domestic market, with the total amount of orders amounting to $55.08 million, which is equivalent to 10% of the company's annual consolidated revenue in 2024.
At the same time, Kocaer Ç elik's steel production for the month reached 61100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 11%, setting a historical high monthly record. The increase in production this time is due to the completion of 50CrMo4 steel equipment upgrades and technological upgrades at its three steel mills located in the Aliaga area of Izmir.
In addition, Kocaer Ç elik has launched five new high value-added products in the first four months of this year and plans to launch nine more before the end of the year. These products will be applied in the fields of solar energy, manufacturing, and construction, and some products are expected to achieve import substitution 50CrMo4 steel.
