According to the latest data of Türkiye 19MnMo5-5 steel Statistics Bureau, Türkiye's pig iron import volume in October was 97600 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 27%. In the same period, Türkiye's crude steel output increased 0.7% year on year, reaching 3 million tons.
In October 2024, Russia will export 64700 tons of pig iron to Türkiye, a year-on-year decrease of 28%. Nevertheless, Russia is still Türkiye's largest pig iron supplier. From January to October 2024, Russia's total pig iron supply to Türkiye 19MnMo5-5 steel will reach 693200 tons. In addition, Türkiye's pig iron imports from Kazakhstan increased significantly, reaching 32900 tons in October, a three fold year-on-year increase 19MnMo5-5 steel.
