According to the data provided by Türkiye HCT980XG steel Institute of Statistics (TUlK), in May this year, Türkiye's rebar export increased by 46.9% year on year and 10.5% month on month, reaching 303368 tons. The total export value was 177.8 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 29.1% and a month on month increase of 10.0%. During the period from January to May, Türkiye's rebar exports reached 1.37 million tons, up 24.0% year on year, while the value of these exports increased 8.2% year on year, reaching 807.71 million dollars.
During this period, Türkiye HCT980XG steel exported 265.1 million tons of spiral steel to Yemen, a year-on-year increase of 27.6%. Yemen became the main export destination of spiral steel for Türkiye, surpassing Romania HCT980XG steel , which exported 1212.33 million tons of spiral steel during this period. Romania followed closely behind, with Albania accounting for 8768900 tons.
